Wow. It had been a long time since I\u2019d had such a visual shock. I just spent a week in Denmark<\/strong> and Norway<\/strong>, and I loved every moment. It was a whirlwind trip filled with guided tours, electric boat cruises, free outdoor concerts, and a train journey across the country. This was my first experience in Northern Europe, and certainly not the last. Everything went off without a hitch, not a single hiccup. I discovered another world: a peaceful, harmonious world with stunning efficiency. And what can I say about the unimaginable beauty of the landscapes and the charm of the cities…<\/p>\n

I started in Copenhagen<\/strong>, where some of my Danish yoga students gave me an incredible welcome. I\u2019ve been cycling for 30 years, so of course, I rented a bike. But I had never ridden in a city so dedicated to cyclists; what a joy. You just have to understand the rules of the road, like raising your hand to signal that you’re stopping. Copenhagen<\/strong> is sublime and has a unique charm all its own. I highly recommend taking a boat tour of the city. The water is incredibly pure, and the Danes love to swim.<\/p>\n

Next, I headed to Oslo<\/strong>, and once again, I found myself in another world. Everything is easy there, whether it\u2019s public transportation, sightseeing, or the excursions on offer… I fell in love with the Oslo Opera House,<\/strong> an architectural masterpiece that never gets old. And what about the electric boat tour through the fjords around the city? Exceptional.<\/p>\n

Then, I took the train from Oslo<\/strong> to Bergen<\/strong>. I had read that this 7-hour journey was exceptional, but it was even more beautiful than anything I had seen in videos before I left. The highlight was undoubtedly passing through snowy mountain passes with a few glaciers, in the middle of August. I can\u2019t imagine what it must be like in winter. I had planned to watch some movies during the trip, but I\u2019ll save those for when I\u2019m home! I was glued to the window the entire time. Here\u2019s a tip: book a seat on the left side of the train, at least in the Oslo\/Bergen<\/strong> direction.<\/p>\n

Finally, I ended my stay in Bergen<\/strong>. The country\u2019s second-largest city, Bergen<\/strong> is mainly the starting point for exploring the fjords or heading to the far north of the country. I had booked an electric boat excursion, and if I emphasize the electric aspect, it\u2019s because the silence of the motor is just the cherry on top. And what a MAGNIFICENT cake it was. I wasn\u2019t ready for that visual shock… Two hours of pure amazement where I felt like I was in an episode of The Lord of the Rings.<\/p>\n

Wow. It had been a long time since I\u2019d had such a visual shock. I just spent a week in Denmark<\/strong> and Norway<\/strong>, and I loved every moment. It was a whirlwind trip filled with guided tours, electric boat cruises, free outdoor concerts, and a train journey across the country. This was my first experience in Northern Europe, and certainly not the last. Everything went off without a hitch, not a single hiccup. I discovered another world: a peaceful, harmonious world with stunning efficiency. And what can I say about the unimaginable beauty of the landscapes and the charm of the cities…<\/p>\n

I started in Copenhagen<\/strong>, where some of my Danish yoga students gave me an incredible welcome. I\u2019ve been cycling for 30 years, so of course, I rented a bike. But I had never ridden in a city so dedicated to cyclists; what a joy. You just have to understand the rules of the road, like raising your hand to signal that you’re stopping. Copenhagen<\/strong> is sublime and has a unique charm all its own. I highly recommend taking a boat tour of the city. The water is incredibly pure, and the Danes love to swim.<\/p>\n

Next, I headed to Oslo<\/strong>, and once again, I found myself in another world. Everything is easy there, whether it\u2019s public transportation, sightseeing, or the excursions on offer… I fell in love with the Oslo Opera House,<\/strong> an architectural masterpiece that never gets old. And what about the electric boat tour through the fjords around the city? Exceptional.<\/p>\n

Then, I took the train from Oslo<\/strong> to Bergen<\/strong>. I had read that this 7-hour journey was exceptional, but it was even more beautiful than anything I had seen in videos before I left. The highlight was undoubtedly passing through snowy mountain passes with a few glaciers, in the middle of August. I can\u2019t imagine what it must be like in winter. I had planned to watch some movies during the trip, but I\u2019ll save those for when I\u2019m home! I was glued to the window the entire time. Here\u2019s a tip: book a seat on the left side of the train, at least in the Oslo\/Bergen<\/strong> direction.<\/p>\n

Finally, I ended my stay in Bergen<\/strong>. The country\u2019s second-largest city, Bergen<\/strong> is mainly the starting point for exploring the fjords or heading to the far north of the country. I had booked an electric boat excursion, and if I emphasize the electric aspect, it\u2019s because the silence of the motor is just the cherry on top. And what a MAGNIFICENT cake it was. I wasn\u2019t ready for that visual shock… Two hours of pure amazement where I felt like I was in an episode of The Lord of the Rings.<\/p>\n
