On the Path of the Druids

Once Upon A Time… a magical path that will restore your power, your mind and your body. In our Celtic lands, Druidism was eradicated by the Catholic Church, although the philosophy continued to thrive in small villages and in the countryside in Ireland, England, Brittany and even here, in Belgium. Actually, about a hundred or so years ago, Druidism made a full-on come-back. We’re offering you the opportunity to discover this tradition, in harmony with nature, the seasons and the little people of the forest, the wellsprings and the rocks. Our three druidesses will guide you on a journey on the secret path of the Druids.
This trip onto The Path of the Druids is scheduled for Saturday, 4 December, in Brussels, in the Sonian Forest, from 13:00 till 18:00. All confirmed participants will receive an email with the precise location.
Our walk in the forest will be sprinkled with little workshops, explorations and clarifications about the life of druids, ovates and bards; at the end we will all participate in an eco-ritual.
Afternoon program for Life inspiration
During the period of the Long Nights, nature prepares for its “little death”, when night envelops us tenderly. We begin to restore our powers, our minds, our bodies. We’ll be using the fruits we reaped in summer to prepare the threads we will need to weave the tapestry of the coming year 2022.

Autumn eco-ritual with wise steps
Honouring of the winds that sweep away the past, the rains that cleanse the present.
Experience your own “little death” and rebirth into a new cycle.
Dare to sow the new seeds of Life.
17.30: Tasting of autumn foods
Soft landing and closing of the Cauldron of the Druids.
Contribution: 120 euros per person
Date: Saturday, 4 December, in Brussels, in the Sonian Forest, from 13.00 till 18.00.
Provide for: suitable clothing for an autumnal forest walk, something to sit on, a candle, autumnal food for supper, 3 objects from nature as an offering to the forest.
The druidesses will be invoking a beautiful day and protection from rainfall. The weather is a gift from the cycles of Life, we have to be prepared to live outdoors in all seasons.

As is the case with all our tours and trips, Once Upon A Time offers 2 different options: “The Wanderers” and “As you wish”. Clarification:
The Wanderers: half-day trips in small groups, maximum 20 people, that are occasionally organised, at set dates. We organise everything: we welcome you at the beginning and you don’t have to worry about anything until the end of your trip.
As you wish: would you rather spend an afternoon with one of the druidesses to celebrate yourself, reconnect with the thread of your destiny, harmonise your powers, your courage, your joy, move on to better things, discover your own path into beauty. It is possible! We put together an afternoon for you, your family, your friends, and we take care of it all.
